Aims and Objectives:
1- Publish and translate books that relate to the history, geography, literature and heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the Arabian Peninsula and the Arab and Islamic Worlds.
2- Research audi history, geography and literature.
3- Hold lecture and conferences.
4- Preserve and collect the historical sources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula, including the archives and all historical materials.
5- Maintain King Abdulaziz Memorial Hall.
6- Grant the annual King Abdulaziz Prize.
7- Publish the quarterly periodical Addarah.
8- Establish a research library.
9- Serve researchers and encourage research projects.
