The General Secretariat and Legal Affairs Division undertakes secretarial works for the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee and provides legal counsel to the Board, the Governor and the departments of the Central Bank which ensure compatibility of the Central Bank′s rules, procedures and circulars with the constitution and established laws in the country.
