ICBA is an applied research and development center located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its mission is to develop and promote the use of sustainable agricultural systems that use saline water to grow crops.
History
In 1996, the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), an international financial institution located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, signed an agreement with the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), represented by its Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF) to establish the Center.
