The Center′s mission is to:
Understand and guide the effective and wise use of modern information technology, especially those related to computer and networked environments.
Provide the resources and the environment that encourages faculty members to develop and use innovative teaching methods and learning materials.
Provide vision, suggest avenues, and offer support in using technology in the teaching and learning process.
Its goal is to :
Provide expertise and resources that support teaching and learning at UAE University.
Assess the needs of colleges and faculty members in instructional support services.
Develop and enhance the academic uses of computers and information technology.
Produce professional instructional materials in cooperation with the faculty members.
Assist in faculty development activities in the area of information technology.
Participate in research and other professional activities dealing with university teaching and learning.
