General Description
This Division handles the studying and follow up of the marketing of farmer′s agricultural production, especially dates which come under the accreditation of His Highness the President of UAE.
Within its responsibilities is checking the conditions and specifications for dates: -
The dates should be dry and loose
They should not contain unripe dates or unfertilized dates and should be completely free of insect and fungus damage or malformation.
They should be free from acidic dates rotten dates or overripe dates
Dates from the previous season are not acceptable.
The varieties should be graded and put in different containers, mixed varieties will not be accepted.
The dates should be packed in good and clean plastic boxes.
