Jebel Ali Port was inaugurated to issue Entry Permits (Visit – Employment – Resident), issue new Visas, renew Visas, cancel and renew Visit Visas, report complaints for absconding persons, also issue and renew representative cards. All these transactions were carried out through a computerized system in order to distinguish this branch from other ports.

Jebel Ali Port was inaugurated in the year 1979.A remarkable branch was commenced in the Passports section of Jebel Ali Port in November.
