Egywrap is the pioneer in the Middle East for the production of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene films (BOPP), which are used for the flexible packaging industries, for both the food and non-food sectors.
The factory at the 6th of October city includes two production lines, a BRÜCKNER line (German) and DMT line (French) with an overall capacity of 14000 tons per year.
Egywrap has been assessed and registered as meeting the requirements of ISO 9002.
History
Egywrap was founded in 1998 as the normal extension of Icopack, which started production in 1990 and obtained the know-how from the British firm of Courtaulds, a giant institution in this field.
The two companies have been merged under the name of EGYWRAP.
