General Description
The Faculty of engineering was established in 1991 at Amman University with one department, namely, the Department of Electrical Engineering. This department offers the degree of Bachelor of Science in three areas of specialization:
Computer Engineering,
Communication and Electronics Engineering,
Biomedical Engineering.
While the establishment of this department aims to meet a growing demand on quality engineering education in these fields, efforts are continuing to introduce other fields of high technology specialization′s. In particular, Biomedical Engineering has been the last to be introduced, thereby allowing new students to be admitted for this specialization in the year 2000/2001.
