General Description
The Department of Public Relations is entrusted with the following duties:
°Reinforcing the relationship between police and the public, basing such relationship on credibility, trust, mutual respect and cooperation.
°Disseminating security awareness among the public with the hope to involve the public in the fight against crime.
°Mustering the support of all segments of the public in the fight against crime, social ills and threats against law and order.
°Uplifting the morale of police personnel aiming to improve good police performance.
°Organizing celebrations and special events.
°Educating police staff, and creating the kind of environment needed for learning and self-education.
°Conducting social research and studying the cases that staff members need
