General Description
Aims of the Associaion:
1/Uniting the stand of veterinary doctors.
2/ Resolving disputes that may take place among the veterinaries themselves or between them and other parties, provided that such disputes fall within their professional work.
3/ Collecting subscriptions and establishing a pension fund for purposes of old age or inability to work, beside extending help to the needy members and their families.
4/ Maintaing doctors′ level with regard to the terms and conditions of their work.
5/ Cooperating with other medical professions and technical agencies to promote public interest and welfare.
6/Representing the veterinairies in relevant conferences and meeting or medical and scientific symposiums.
History
The association was officially founded in 1972.
Constitutional Framework
The association was officially founded in 1972 by virtue of The Jordanian Veterinary Association Law N° 16 for the year 1976 . In its relation with the executive power, the association is affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture.
