The Foundation has chosen to focus on two principal areas, culture and education, which it considers as central to any long-term and consistent process of human development. Hence, and based on needs assessment in these two sectors, it established the Qattan Centre for the Child in Gaza City, the Qattan Centre for Educational Research and Development, the Culture and Science Programme, the Palestinian Audio Visual Project.
History
The A.M.Qattan is a charitable institution which was founded in 1994 and registered in the United Kingdom no. 2171893, a branch of the foundation was registered in Palestine in 1998.
Mode of Finance
In order to ensure its independence and the highest level of service, the Al-Qattan family underwrites the Foundation′s administrative expenses and program and project costs
